Jaroslawicz & Jaros, PLLC is a personal injury law firm in New York City, founded in 1980 by David Jaroslawicz and Abraham Jaros.[1] The firm reports more than $1 billion recovered in verdicts and settlements for clients injured by negligence.[1]

Founders

David Jaroslawicz has argued cases before the Supreme Court of the United States, the New York Court of Appeals and several federal circuit courts.[1] Abraham Jaros obtained the first million-dollar medical malpractice verdict in Sullivan County, New York, and the first two-million-dollar verdict in Albany County.[1] Both founders, along with attorney Natascia Ayers, have been named to The National Trial Lawyers Top 100, and the firm writes and argues its own appeals.[1]

Practice areas

The firm handles car, truck, motorcycle, taxi, bus, bicycle and pedestrian accidents, medical malpractice, construction accidents, premises liability, nursing home negligence, defective drug and medication error claims, disability and life insurance disputes, and wrongful death.[1] It serves Spanish-speaking clients and will take over cases from clients dissatisfied with a prior attorney at no additional fee.[1]

Notable verdicts

Verdicts reported by the firm include $44 million for a construction worker injured in a fall, $6 million for a passenger injured when a car struck a tree, $4.6 million for a truck driver injured by a falling box, and $4 million for a worker injured by a defective saw.[1] Clients receive direct access to their attorney, contingency fee representation and, when needed, free transportation to medical appointments.[1]
